Digital Education Stakeholder forums

The European Commission has the pleasure to announce the first Digital Education Stakeholder Forum: Making education and training fit for the digital age, which will take place on 22 March 2022 (10:00-18:00 CET).

 

The Forum will be an online event, bringing together a diversity of stakeholders representing the political, practitioner and academic angles of digital education policy across the private and public sector in Europe.

 

Together with stakeholders, the Forum aims to celebrate the achievements of the first year of implementation of the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027),and to reflect on the way forward in making education and training fit for the digital age.

 

The Stakeholder Forum will feature high-level speakers such as the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel, the Executive-Vice President Margrethe Vestager and the Vice-President Margaritis Schinas. Ministers of Education from the Presidency Trio and Members of the European Parliament have also been invited. To ensure a dynamic and interactive event, the Forum will include a wide variety of formats ranging from pitching sessions, demonstrations of tools and frameworks, one-to-one interviews, panel discussions and Sli.do exercises.

 

Member States are invited to register for the Stakeholder Forum on the following link and to inform the relevant stakeholders in their networks.
